    1.clicking two times a icon and opening it or by waiting the windows XP open.
    2.Window will customize by changing or pressing a new icon in computer and by pressing right click in the task bar and just press the properties so you can open what you want or what your teacher ask you to do.

    1. ans:the hal manipulate the hardware during an upgrade or an installation of windows xp, you can force in hal by pressing the f5 key and then selecting from the available computer types.

    2. ans:got to the gray area where the "home" icon is and back click over it. the right mouse button then go to customize.
